Riding Info and Related Links 

 

All snowmobilers riding the trails are required to register their sleds with New York State. The cost is $45.00 if you are a club member or the fee will be $100 if you do not belong to a NYSSA club

Your best plan is to download the registration form (see the DMV website link below) and mail it in to DMV, along with your voucher (proof of NYS club membership), a copy of your driver's license and a copy of your state's registration card or proof of origin for your sled.  The Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) here in New York will process and send your registration sticker to you within just a few business days.   Note: You do not need to show proof of insurance to register a snowmobile in New York, but if you are stopped on the trails by police (or DEC) you will need to be able to show proof of both registration and insurance.

 New York State Snowmobile Association  - you can join a NYS snowmobile club on-line and print out your voucher at this website...just click on "join a club on-line".

Chautauqua Lake Snowmobile Club - This club maintains trails from Mayville and Chautauqua over to Stockton and extending  south to Sherman, Clymer, Findley Lake & Panama

Ellery Sno-Cruisers - The Sno Cruisers maintain trails in the Bemus Point,  Ellery and Stockton areas and to the northern shore of Chautauqua Lake & north to Stockton 

Cherry Creek Sno-Goers  - The Sno-Goers maintain trails from Stockton and Cassadaga east to Cherry Creek and their trail system extends north toward Arkwright, Forestville, Sheridan, Dunkirk and Silver Creek. 

Southern Tier Snow Drifters - The club is located in the Collins, NY area and have most of their trail system in Erie County, but they also maintain portions of trails in northern Chautauqua and Cattaraugus Counties

Sunset Drifters - maintain trails in the northern part of Chautauqua County, in and around the towns of Silver Creek, Hanover and Sheridan.
