120cc SnoCross Racing Info…

Rock Maple Racing offers several 120cc (Kitty Cat sleds, etc.) classes at each of their Sno-X races on their circuits. These classes are fun for parents and kids alike.  Here is information for parents who might have children ages 6 – 10 that would like to participate in 120cc racing during the Snocross weekend at the Gerry Rodeo Grounds on January 27th and 28th, 2007. For information and sign-up forms please visit www.rockmaple.com or contact the Race Director, Charles (Chuck) Minasalli at cminasalli@rockmaple.com or contact Tara Saxton at tsaxton@rockmaple.com or (651) 209-7400 – they are super nice folks and will be glad to answer any questions.

*4 Classes are offered: 120 Stock Novice, 120 Stock, 120 Improved Stock & 120 Champ
*No studs allowed.
*These are non-point classes, as it is made to be a fun program for the kids to help them get adapted into the racing scene.
*Classes are offered on both Saturday and Sunday.  The cost is $15 per day/per class. Weekend membership for non-members is $10.  Parents should have their children on site by 9:00am each morning, in order to register and get the sleds through the pre-race tech check before racing starts.
*Safety equipment, such as Tek-Vests, are available for rental at the race site through Rock Maple Racing.

Rock Maple Racing provides an information packet and the program focuses on the following core values: sportsmanship, fun, scholastics, and respect.  Rock Maple wants to make sure that every child has fun and they will go to great lengths, to make sure this happens!  The objective of the 120 Program is to replicate the main series on smaller level. This entails a similar set-up such as a driver's meeting, staging lanes, track design (small tabletops and jumps), and awards ceremony. This ensures that every racer has an understanding of how a typical race weekend takes place, starting at a young age. This makes the transition from class to class much smoother and less stressful for the kids."

Thank you to the wonderful folks at Rock Maple Racing and to the terrific Sno-X Racers on the RMR West circuit, for providing us with terrific entertainment and racing at our Snocross fundraiser event in 2005!

From the littlest racers.....

SNOCROSS SPONSORSHIP:  We need your help!

We are now selling our 'Snocross Sponsorships'.  The cost to be one of the race sponsors is only $250.  This terrific sponsorship package includes repeat mention of your business throughout the full two-day event by the official race announcer, inclusion in our multiple radio station advertisements and "thank you" posters (during the snocross event and afterward at local businesses) as well as, sponsorship mention in our newsletter and on our website.

Please share this with any business owner who may be interested.  With over 3,300 people in attendance last year, monthly newsletter mailings to over 400 club members, landowners and other businesses, plus great website traffic, anyway you look at it, this is awesome exposure for any business!

Additional revenue can only assist in making the Snocross fundraiser a success and it is imperative to help the club to keep up with the drastic increase in fuel costs.

Contact Phil Ricotta (716) 665-3063 or email Krista France at info@trailbreakers.com to set up your sponsorship!

Thank you to B.E.S.T. and all the racers for the thrills of live Snocross action, as you can see, it was a pretty exciting Super Bowl Sunday down at the Gerry Rodeo Grounds!

(Below) Big money winner of the weekend, Jason Rudd, receiving congratulations from the Snocross sponsors.

Part of the pit area:

Life is tough in the pits....

Some of our sponsors for the race:

A line up of some of the Shults Automotive Group's new trucks....

Zahm & Matson's line up of Polaris sleds, ATV's, Gators and lots more

Rodger & Sons (below), the Ski-Doo boys...

Most spectators drove their cars and trucks to the race,
but there were a "few" hardy souls who rode their sleds...
well...maybe more than a few!

Another great reason to buy a groomer, use it to groom the Snocross track!
Those racing sleds really move some snow, someone has to put it back.
