On December 21 the Membership
voted to add a third groomer to our fleet if the financing was
approved by the Board of Directors. On December 22, an emergency
meeting of the Board was held and approval was given. The Groomer
package consists of leasing a New 2011 John Deere 6430
Tractor from Z&M Ag and Turf for a three year period, purchasing a
Demo set of 600ST Soucy Tracks to fit the John Deere 6430, and
purchasing a Demo 8'x20' 12 blade Advanced Snow Groomer Drag from
Larry Snyder in Holland New York. Our Club Demonstrated a package like
this late last season and was very happy with the unit. We hope to
have this groomer ready for our trails by January 8th. The Lake Effect
Trailbreakers would like to thank John Griffith from Z&M Ag and
Turf and, Larry Snyder from Advanced Snow Groomers for their help in
making the addition of this Groomer possible.
On the right is a picture of the 1995 Tucker 1000 Sno
Cat after snowmobile member Mark Risley tore it down sanded, painted
and put it back together. This will help it last a few more
years. Next year our hope is to paint the 1995 Tucker 2000. New 2011 John Deere 6430 Tractor - Groomer operators: Brad Griffith, Jamye Conti

Please think about purchasing our awesome new decals. They come in two sizes, 2 1/2x4 for your sled and a 4x6 for your vehicle. Also two colors, yellow or black background. The cost is $5.00 each. There is a place to order them on the application or you can send a check to our club's address if you are interested in purchasing them. All the proceeds will go toward our groomer support fund. If you are interested in donating anything to the groomer fund that would be great. They are not cheap to run to keep our trails in GREAT shape.

| Our volunteer
members have been hard at work on bridges and trails. Pictures 1
& 2 are of the 28 creek road bridge, picture 3 is Trail S18,
Witch Kitch Trail, this was always very steep and troublesome.
The bank has been cut way done and will now be much more friendly.
Picture 3 is the new bridge under construction leading into
Sinclairville, NY. Steel beams were donated by Ken Morley, give
him a big thanks if you know him or see him. Saved us alot of
money. Our club meets on the first Tuesday of each month at Feegan's Witch Kitch (on the trail) in Sinclairville, NY and the third Wednesday the Backyard Bar & Grill in Kimball Stand, NY (just outside of Gerry, NY) at 7:30PM. Our meeting times and dates are posted on our website at www.trailbreakers.com on the Events Calendar page and they are also listed in our monthly newsletter. The newsletter goes out to all our members, advertisers and also to the landowners on our trail system.
